Starting December 5, Fortnite Crew is getting an update. Here’s what’s changing:

- OG Pass will end on December 5 with a dramatic conclusion at the end of Chapter 1: OG Season X. The Next Era of Fortnite OG drops in late 2027.
- +20% XP in Fortnite for you and +10% XP for your squad members while playing together.
- Crew Pack Outfits are ending, and the final one will be December's pack. All Legacy Styles for Crew Pack Outfits you already own will be granted to you.

Here’s more details of how the change December 5 works:
More V-Bucks
Every subscriber will get at least 1,000 V-Bucks per month now, instead of 800. The longer you stay subscribed, the more you’ll receive, up to 1,600 V-Bucks. Here are the tiers:
- Core | 1–2 Months: 1,000 V-Bucks
- Bronze | 3–5 Months: 1,200 V-Bucks
- Silver | 6–11 Months: 1,400 V-Bucks
- Gold | 12+ Months: 1,600 V-Bucks
Already subscribed? After December 5, your V-Bucks tier will be based on how many consecutive months you’ve been subscribed in the past 12 months.
Previously subscribed? Resubscribe between December 6 and December 31, 2026 11:59 PM ET and your starting tier will reflect your most recent continuous subscription period over the past 12 months.
Check the new Crew tab in-game on December 5 to see where you’ll start, or see the FAQ below for details.
XP Boosts for You and Your Friends
Crew members earn +20% more Fortnite XP. Squad up, and party members without Crew earn a +10% XP boost while playing with you.
If you’re already a Fortnite Crew subscriber, you don’t need to do anything to keep your subscription when these changes roll out on December 5.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which V-Bucks tier will I start in on December 5 if I’m currently subscribed?
- It depends on how many consecutive months you’ve been subscribed in the past 12 months. For example, if you subscribed on June 15 and stayed subscribed continuously, when you reach your billing date on December 15, you will have reached 7 months of tenure and be placed at Silver tier. When the new Crew launches on December 5, check the in-game Crew tab to see the starting tier for your membership.
What if I resubscribe?
- If you resubscribe between December 6 and December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET, your tier will reflect your most recent continuous subscription period in the last 12 months. For example, if your most recent subscription time is a 3 month long period earlier in the year, you will start at Bronze with 1,200 V-Bucks.
- If you resubscribe after December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET, no prior subscription periods will be taken into account and you will start at the Core tier. Check the Crew tab in-game for your tier.
Does the XP boost stack with other XP bonuses? What if several people in my party have Crew?
- Crew XP boosts don’t stack with each other, and neither do party boosts. Players in your party without Crew get one 10% boost, no matter how many Crew members are in the party.
Will I get the remaining Legacy Styles for the Crew Outfit Packs I already own?
- Yes. All Legacy Styles will be granted in December for Crew Packs (Outfits, Pickaxes, and Back Blings) you own, whether or not you’re currently subscribed. The final December Crew Pack will be granted for subscribers throughout all of December.
What about Music and LEGO Passes next year?
- Future Music and LEGO passes will return to their regular size and come out more often following the mini-passes on November 12 and December 5.
